Welcome to Seabee Day 2012 April 14 , 2012 Free and open to the public Seabee Day 2012 will kick off with a Patriots Parade and street party (tentative) Friday, April 13 hosted by the City of Gulfport to celebrate Mississippi Gulf Coast Navy Week. Then come out and celebrateMississippi Gulf Coast Navy Week at your Seabee Base Seabee Day 2012 is a celebration of the U.S. Navy Seabee on board Naval Construction Battalion Center in Gulfport, Miss. Seabee Day will take place April 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the base parade field and will feature a festival atmosphere, games, fun, food, free carnival rides, musical guests and much, much more. Visit back often to view updates as they come available. This community event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Everyone is invited on board for a first-hand look at the Navy's construction engineers and many other military unit displays. Seabee Day 2012 highlights the mission and accomplishments of the men and women of the Naval Construction Force, affectionately known as the Seabees. Seabee Day 2012 will feature demonstrations of Seabee construction skills, static displays of construction equipment, weapons and field camp construction, hands-on demonstrations and displays plus a wide variety of activities and lots of free entertainment. Enter the base via the Pass Road Gate or Broad Ave. Gate and follow the signs to free parking. (See "Getting Here") Seabee Day 2012 kicks off April 14 at 9 a.m. This event
